Darwin Plus banded belts are made up from Classical, Wedge or Narrow belts with a strong tie band over them. Each band may contain the reuired number of belts, maximum upto 6 belts in one tie band depending on the drive conditions.
Applications:
Darwin Plus banded belts are recommended on drives under the conditions of:
Severe vibrations, Agricultural drives, Vertical shaft drives, Conveyor systems, V-flat drives, Crushers, Compressors, Generator Sets, Pumps etc.
While using banded belts it is always recommended to use standard pulleys with proper guard only. The proper belt setting can only be achieved if the pitch distances maintained for the belts and for the pulleys used are same.
